Field + Supply brings together people who love making and design. In Kingston, New York, ALISA presented a silk collection created with kimono artisans, sharing Japanese artistry and the hands behind it.
Many visitors stopped at our booth, held the pieces, and discovered the beauty of their motifs and handwork. We were grateful for the generous praise for the colors and the feel of the silk.
Japanese artistry, shared across borders
Through each piece, we spoke with people encountering Japanese aesthetics for the first time and with those who have long admired them. Seeing that artistry welcomed as something to live with brought us great joy.
